MobiKin Transfer for Mobile

Smart phones have become an important part of human's life. With a wide use of this kind of electronic products, people live a more convenient and happier life - they offer the possibility for us to get the wanted information whenever it is and wherever we are. And it is common to find people transferring files between different mobile phones. So here we designed the software - MobiKin Transfer for Mobile to make it easier for users to transfer files between mobile phones. This program enables different mobile phones' users to transfer files like contacts, messages, music, photos, videos and so on between two phones easily and efficiently. Here we will offer you the tutorial to transfer files between different mobile phones.

Part 1: Connect your phones to computer and make them recognized

Step 1. Install and Launch the Program

Download the software on your computer by clicking the downloading icons above and then install and launch it. Then you will get an interface as below:

Step 2. Make the Connected Devices Be Recognized

Next, you need to connect two devices to computer and then make them be recognized.

1) Connect Android phone to computer

To establish a connection between your Android phone and computer, you have two methods - connect via USB cable or Wi-Fi.

- Connect via USB cable

First of all, you need to connect your Android device to computer with a USB cable. After that, the program will initialize the device.

Then you need to enable the USB debugging on your device. After debugging the device, you need to install the driver on your computer. (If you fail to complete the driver installation, you can go to "How to Do If the Driver Installed Failed" to find the solutions.)

Next, if your Android OS version is 4.2 or above, you should go on to authorize your computer by tapping "Allow" or "OK" in the pop-up window on your device.

After that, the program will start to install the MobiKin Assistant for Android (Android Version) on your Android device automatically. 

- Connect via Wi-Fi

If you fail to connect your Android phone via USB cable or do not like the USB connection, you can choose the Wi-Fi connection. Just tap on "Can't recognize the device" on the interface of the program. Then you will get an interface as below:

Just tap on the option "Connect via Wi-Fi" and then go with the prompts to download the Assistant for Android (Android Version) on your Android phone. Then you should launch the App and scan the QR code at the top left corner.

Notice: Your Android phone and computer should be connected to the same network, or the connection will be failed.

Supposed that you fail to connect the Android device after following the prompts on the screen, you can go to the page "what to do if the program does not recognize my Android device"  to find solutions.

2) Connect iOS device to computer

For connecting your iDevice to computer, you need to unlock your phone and click "Trust" when a window pops up on your phone to ask you whether to trust this computer.

If you cannot see the popup, you can go to this page to learn the solutions. If you fail to connect the iDevice for other reasons, you can click to learn what to do if my iDevice fails to connect.

Part 2: Start to Transfer Data from One Phone to Another

> Transfer from Android to Android

Step 1. Connect two Android devices to the computer and launch the Transfer for Mobile program. Once the two devices are successfully recognized by the program, you can get the main interface as below:

Step 2. You can see that there are several categories listed in the middle column. Just mark the file types that you want to transfer and hit the "Start Copy" button at the bottom to begin the moving process. Please do not disconnect either mobile phone during the transferring process.

Step 3. When the transferring process ends, the program will prompt you that "Transfer is completed". Just click "OK" to end the transfer.

> Transfer from iOS to iOS

Step 1. Connect two iOS devices to the computer and launch the program. Once the two iPhone, iPad or iPod are successfully recognized by the program, you can get the main interface as below:

Step 2. Tick off the file types that you want to transfer from the content list in the middle and hit the "Start Copy" button at the bottom to begin the moving process. When the transferring process ends, the program will prompt you that "Transfer is completed". Just click "OK" to end the transfer.

> Transfer from Android to iOS

Step 1. Connect your Android phone and iOS device to the computer, and wait until they are detected by the program. Then, you will get the main interface as below:

Step 2. Check the data types you want to transfer from the data list and click the "Start Copy" button to begin the transfer process. The whole transfer task will complete soon and you will be notified with the popup of "Transfer is completed".

> Transfer from iOS to Android

Step 1. Connect your iOS device and Android device to the computer. Once they are detected and recognized by the program, you will get the main interface like below:

Step 2. Select the data types you want to transfer from the list in the middle and give a hit on the "Start Copy" button to kick off the transfer process.

Note: when you transfer text messages from iPhone to Android device, you need to unlock your iPhone. Please pay attention to the unlock prompt that pops up on your iPhone screen.

Step 3. Wait patiently and you will be notified with the popup of "Transfer is completed" when the transfer process is finished.
