1. Go to the settings of your old LG phone, and select Google Accounts. Login to your account where you have to opt for the syncing option and create a backup of the contacts on your Google Account.

Step 1. Download and launch the LG to Nexus Transfer on your computer. Connect the two phones - LG and Nexus phones, to the computer simultaneously using two USB cables.
